FREETOWN, Oct. 28 (SALONE TIMES) –The Brookfields football Veterans are set to organize a Veteran football competition in Freetown. Six teams have been registered to take part in the veteran competition which will take place at the Siaka Steven Stadium practicing field in Freetown.
Among the six teams, Brookfields registered two teams. The other teams are Wilberforce, Goderich, Ascension Town and Mount Aureol.
In preparation for the above competition, the Brookfields Veterans on the 2nd October 2021 held a one-day seminar on the rules, regulations and the amendments of the law of the game of football for 2021-2022 at the Siaka Steven Stadium, Brookfields Freetown.
The seminar was conducted by CAF/FIFA Referee instructor Anabi Yusufu Kamara. On Saturday 9th October 2021 Brookfields Veteran played friendly match against COFA 87 in preparation for the veteran competition.
