Special Line, the defending champions of the Sierra Leone Men’s T20 Cricket Premier League, has clinched a spot in the semi-finals with one game left in the season. With an unbeaten record across five matches and 10 points secured, Special Line aims to maintain their winning streak in their final group-stage match against Mid-West CC on Saturday, November 16.

In their latest match on Wednesday against SL Police CC, Special Line overcame expectations, batting first and scoring 102 runs with a loss of 7 wickets in a match shortened to 15 overs. The team’s disciplined bowling restricted SL Police to 85 runs with 5 wickets lost. Key players included Alusine Turay, who scored 33 runs off 28 balls and was named both Man of the Match and Best Batter. Other strong performances came from George Edward Ngegba, who scored 24 runs off 15 balls, and George Sesay with 21 runs off 13 balls.

While already through to the semi-finals, Special Line remains focused on defeating Mid-West CC to complete an unbeaten league run. In other weekend fixtures, Wanderers played Gujarat, Mid-West faced Police, Gujarat took on Police, and the Asian Lions clashed with Copper Safe. However, results from these matches were not available at press time.
