FREETOWN, Aug 10 (232News) – On Wednesday 4th August 2021, Tornado Fc played host to OlympAfrica U 15 Team in the ongoing WAFA U 15 Community Football Competition. The match was played at the Siaka Steven Stadium Practice field at 5pm. The match started 30 minutes late behind the scheduled time due to the late arrival of the host team Tornado FC.

The two teams had chances to score but failed to score and make use of the opportunities they got during the game. The game started with both teams expecting to secure a winning but it ended in a stalemate.

The Head Coach of Tornado FC Isaac Tham said that it was their third match in the competition without no winning, three matches, three points. He said that he was not happy because he was expecting to win the match against OlympAfrica U-15. He went on that he still have confidence in his players noting that their next match is a must win match if they are to qualify.

The head coach for OlympAfrica U 15 Team Kadie Mawendeh said playing away was very difficult but said she was happy they secured a point, though she was also expecting a win. She said it was their second match in the competition. “My boys had chances but failed to score. We are going home now, get prepared for our next match come next week by the grace of God Almighty. I appreciated the way the match officials officiates the match”, Kadie Mawendeh asserted.
