Bo Rangers are already crowned as the champions of the Sierra Leone premier league with four matches more to go. Apart from the champion position, three clubs are battling for the second position in the league as the champion and the runner up stands to receive prize money and they will also represent Sierra Leone in the Africa club champion competitions.

Also at the bottom of the league, six clubs are battling to avoid relegation if there will be relegation at the end of the league.

As per the rules of the league, the three last clubs will relegate to the division1 league while the three top clubs in the division play-off will be promoted to the premier league.

Among the six clubs battling for relegation are Real Republicans with 34 points, Wusum Stars with 32 points, Luawa FC with 32 points, FC Johansen with 30 points, East End Tigers with 29 points and at the bottom Wilberforce Strikers are with 29 points.

The six clubs all have four more matches each to battle their way out of the relegation zone. But the question football fans are asking now is whether there will be relegation at the end of the premier league.

The reason for this is because up to the end of the premier league there is no sign of division1&2 leagues playing both in the city and the provinces.

But according to a member of the premier league board their role is to organize the league and present the winners to the FA who will decide whether there will be relegation or not. Notwithstanding, the premier league will continue today with 5 matches playing in Freetown and in the provinces.

In Freetown at Clinetown Freetown City FC will host the league Champions Bo Rangers at the Attouga mini stadium, Freetonian SLIFA will host Old Edwardians at the Angola field, Godrich, Wilberforce Strikers will host East End Tigers in a relegation battle at the Parade field, Lamboi FC will host Real Republicans FC at Lungi town field, Luawa FC will host Diamond Stars at the Kailahun town field and in Makeni Wusum Stars will host Kamboi Eagles at the Wusum field.

In tomorrow’s match East End Lions will host Bai Bureh Warriors at the Trade Center field at Kissy Dock Yard in Freetown. FC Johansen will host Mighty Blackpool FC at the Angola while Ports Authority FC will host FC Kallon at the Parade Field at Circular Road in Freetown.
