FREETOWN – The president of the Market Women Association Sierra Leone, (MWA-SL) Haja Marie Bob Kandeh last Saturday, opened Sierra Leonean local products Mini Shop called ‘Stay Okay Enterprise’.

 The opening ceremony took place at Regent road in Grafton CRS, aiming at not only to cater for people in Freetown but the entire country.

Madam Marie Bob Kandeh explained that it is not easy to do the initiative but with the help of her husband, Rev. Tejan Bob Kandeh  it was made possible. 

Madam Kandeh also encouraged other women to follow her footsteps or even look at other areas to invest.

Reva Tejan Bob Kandeh commended his wife, Marie Bob Kandeh for the good work she has done and still continue to do since they met, adding that if one wants to be a successful man in life,  one has to share ideas with others.

According to Rev. Kandeh, he is excited to share his experience about the project and to also display some of the business products and their future plans.

He explained that he loves and puts so much trust in his wife whom he refers to as a honest and straight forward woman who is always ready to accept challenges without giving up.

 Rev. Tejan Bob Kandeh stated that as a family they are happy with the progress they have made so far and that they have secured 37 acres of land in one of their villages to boost agriculture in the country.

According to the president of the Women’s Forum, Mrs. Maude R. Peacal said that with determination everybody can make it in life as she reference one of them who has been twenty years without a husband but tried to make her mark.
