Bo Rangers have qualified to the second preliminary of the Total Energies CAF Champions league. The Rangers started their campaign in the first preliminary rounds at home against LISCR FC from Liberia.
They were forced to a 1-1 draw at home with an equalizing goal from the visitors coming in the 34th minutes in the first half of the match.
In the first leg, Bo Rangers scored the first goal of the match in the 3rd minutes of the first half. LISCR FC hosted the return leg at the Samuel K. Doe Stadium in Monrovia on Sunday.
The Rangers again scored in the 5th minute of the first half through Suffian Kargbo. Bo Rangers maintained the 1-0 lead until the end of the full-time. The victory took the result to a 2-1 aggregate in favor of Bo Rangers. Bo Rangers will now face Belouizded of Algeria in the next round of the preliminary stage. The team returned home on Monday and will continue training until the date for the second preliminary stage.
