FREETOWN, SEPTEMBER 3rd, (232News) Pa Sorie Samura normally called Papa Sam has appealed to several media institutions to publish the name of gay son Mohamed Samura on local newspapers. Pa Samura in tears said his son has brought shame to their family. He went that beside the government been against gay activist in the country the practice of gay is sinful. He went on that he has done all he could to stop his son but his appeals has been fallen on deaf ears.
Pa Samura went on that his son has gone to the extent involving young boys in their neighborhoods. This he said has led to serious problem people knocking at his door at any time in the day with complains and some even misbehave sometimes. He told the Media that he is tired of the whole issue and the only solution he said is to shone him and to the extent if he has the chance he will kill him and run the jail. In this case he has joined the Police in the hunt for his son with a huge award put aside for his capture dead or alive.
Pa Samura told the media that several occasions Mohamed Samura had involves in gay activities at his residence and at the beach. He vow that he will go all out to capture him and hand him over to the authorities and jail him for life or if possible to execute him. A public notice released by the Police Force in Sierra Leone few days ago stated that Mohamed Samura is on their wanted list. The notice stated that Mohamed is a gay activist and has involved several young boys into the gay activity. Report reveals that a group of vigilantes helping the government to crack down on gay activists has been monitoring Mohamed Samura and his cohorts. Gay and Lesbianism are practice which the government is heavily frowned at in Sierra Leone. Apart from the government the religious groups are also helping the government to clamp down on gays and lesbians in the country. Sometimes they even advice the youths to kill those involve in cold blood so that they will not live to practice it again. In the case of Mohamed Samura he was cut by the vigilantes on the act kissing one of his gay partners together with his cohorts. He was severely beaten together with his companions left him bleeding.
